VENUE
KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN
Why Kaohsiung?
Kaohsiung is Taiwan's second-largest city and a vibrant port city in the south — known for its dynamic arts scene, waterfront culture, and warm, welcoming spirit. Long recognised as one of Taiwan's most LGBTQI+ friendly cities, Kaohsiung offers a backdrop that is as bold and inclusive as the conversations we aim to have.
In 2026, APCS coincides with Taiwan Pride – Asia's first and largest LGBTQI+ celebration – making this an especially powerful moment to gather, connect, and celebrate community alongside the broader movement for equality and rights.
Venturing beyond Taipei for the first time, APCS 2026 invites participants to experience a different side of Taiwan – one defined by openness, creativity, and community pride.
Getting There
Kaohsiung is served by Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH), with direct and connecting flights from major cities across Asia. Taipei is also accessible by Taiwan High Speed Rail (HSR) in approximately 90 minutes, making it easy to combine both cities in one trip.
